I'm Denice Harris, a licensed insurance agent here in North and South Carolina. I became an independent broker because I watched people I care about get overwhelmed with mailers, sales calls, and fine print, and nobody would just sit down and explain it.
Being independent means I don't work for one insurance company. I compare plans from the carriers I represent and help you understand what fits your doctors, prescriptions, budget and daily life.
We'll meet at a pace that suits you, on the phone or across a table. I'll be here throughout the year when you have questions, a new prescription, or a letter you don't understand.

Does it cost anything to work with you?
No. I'm paid by the insurance companies when you enroll, so my guidance costs you nothing, and the plan price is the same whether you use a broker or not.
What does independent mean?
I don't work for just one insurance company. I compare plans from the carriers I represent. I don't offer every plan available in your area, and we'll discuss the options I can help with.
Can my family join the conversation?
Yes. I'm happy to talk with sons, daughters and other family members helping a loved one understand their coverage.
What if I have questions after enrolling?
You can reach out when you have a new prescription, a letter you don't understand or a question about your plan. We'll also review whether your coverage still fits as your needs change.
